If doctor's order does not specify between antigen vs activity, select protein s ACTIVITY as the default test (test code H0177). FROZEN, DOUBLE CENTRIFUGED TWO 2mL CITRATED PLASMA aliquots required. Collect whole blood in citrate tube(s) i.e. light blue cap vacutainer filled up to the mark, centrifuge, separate plasma, centrifuge plasma, separate & FREEZE supernatant.
