Test Requirements

Serum in plain tube (red top) or in a separation vial. Collect in pre-warmed tube and immediately place in container with a warm pack or water bath at 37 degrees C. Allow to clot at 37 degrees C in a waterbath/ incubator then centrifuge within 1 hour of collection, separate and label aliquot tube (sample type inclusive). SAMPLE MUST NOT BE REFRIGERATED UNTIL SERUM IS SEPARATED. AFTER SERUM IS SEPARATED, REFRIGERATE THE SAMPLE.
