Test Requirements
Serum in plain tube (red top) or SST tube (yellow top) or in a separation vial. Centrifuge tubes within 1 hour. Separate centrifuged serum in plain tubes within 1 hour.
Test components: ANTI-SS-A (RO) , ANTI-SS-A (RO), 52 kDaANTI-SS-B (LA), ANTI-SCL-70, ANTI-SM, ANTI-RNP/SmANTI-JO-1, PCNA ANTIBODYNUCLEOSOMES ANTIBODY, HISTONES ANTIBODY, RIBOSOMAL-P-PROTEIN ANTIBODY, DS-DNA ANTIBODY, DFS70 ANTIBODY, KU ANTIBODY, NCENTROMERE ANTIBODY, PM-SCL ANTIBODY, AMA M2 ANTIBODY, MI-2 ANTIBODY.
Clinical Utility
Diagnose systemic autoimmune rheumatic diseases e.g. SLE, mixed connective tissue disease (MCTD), scleroderma, Sjögren's syndrome, polymyositis etc. Can be done as a follow-up test for a positive ANA result.
