PRESENCE OF PCR INHIBITORS IN THE SAMPLE MAY PREVENT NUCLEIC ACID AMPLIFICATION. PARADOXICAL RESULTS MAY ARISE DUE TO SELECTION OF INAPPROPRIATE SPECIMEN AND CONTAMINATION DURING SPECIMEN COLLECTION.
